WHO WE ARE

This site and shop are operated by Pierre Deglaire, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel), registered in France under SIRET 482 454 303 00033, place of business 7 avenue Guillaume Apollinaire, 33700 Mérignac, France, trading under the name YHRK. We are the data controller for all personal data collected through youhavetherighttoknow.org. Intellectual property of all works is held by YHRK CO LLC (Reg. No. B26076249, Tbilisi, Georgia).

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment data is processed exclusively by our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, Swiss Bitcoin Pay) and is never stored on our servers. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address only. We also collect basic browsing data (IP address, browser type) for security and analytics purposes.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Your order data is used solely to process and fulfil your order, send order confirmations and tracking information, and respond to customer service requests. Your newsletter email is used solely to send you the YHRK newsletter and the free content offered at sign-up. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without your explicit consent.

Our newsletter is operated through MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania), which acts as our data processor for this purpose. When you subscribe via the form on this site, your email address is collected and stored by MailerLite to deliver our newsletter and the free content offered at sign-up. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit your email. MailerLite is established within the European Union, so your data is not transferred outside the EU for this purpose. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by contacting us.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Order data is shared only with our production and fulfilment partners — Printify, Gelato, and Printful — strictly to manufacture and ship your order. Newsletter data is processed by MailerLite as described above. The site is hosted by Kinsta. These partners are bound to process your data securely and solely for these purposes. Your data is never sold to third parties.

DATA RETENTION

Order data is retained for a minimum of 5 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. Newsletter data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed; if you unsubscribe, your email is removed from the active list. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, port, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@youhavetherighttoknow.org. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

This site uses essential cookies required for the shopping cart and checkout to function. Embedded content (such as the MailerLite subscription form) may set its own cookies.
